Bringing you the best of Second Life since 2008.

Homes and Gardens

The Home and Garden Expo opens at noon today. So many lovely things, you can explore for hours. I did a quick tour to show you a few of my favorites. All styles seem to be covered from fantasy to retro. Urbanized offers a peaceful flowing lake and flora. And you can pick up some wonderful samples of those Spring meadows here.  Garden Boxes seem to be the new feature at Urbanized; cute open air lounging and entertainment areas perfect for the upcoming months.

Retro fans will love the items from Artilleri. Two styles of trailers are available in a variety of colors. Head back in time when life was simpler. Works for me!

I have always loved the designs at The Looking Glass. They have so many fantastic things including a lovely dark Victorian house and plenty of garden and fantasy items. The textures are glorious.

The expo spans ten sims. I suggest flying as the best method of transportation. You can pick up notecards listing the vendors in each sim at any of the large and very visible visitor boards. There are teleport stations around also, but I somehow missed them. A $25 per item hunt will be happening, but the info wasn't out when I was doing my press gig. Update: Scavenger hunt starting point is HERE.

Builders Brewery is hosting classes throughout the event. A notecard on those comes in the welcome packet as well as the entertainment schedule.

Have fun!
